Our season-long celebration opens on Friday and we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome you to the festively dressed gardens.

Artisan Market (FRI, SAT)

The annual Artisan Market (Fri, 12–6PM & Sat, 11AM–6PM) was expanded, with more than two dozen fabulous artisans and makers in both Wave Hill House and, new this year, Glyndor Gallery. Returning this year are Sol Cacao single-origin chocolate, New York-based jewelry innovator Megan Patrice Riley, textile artist Jessie Zhao and our hands-down favorite, Hetta Glogg. Enjoy a wine-tasting with Olde York Farms Distillery while finishing up your holiday list—and know that your purchases not only support these fine makers but Wave Hill and our educational and horticultural programming as well.

Wreathmaking (FRI, SAT, SUN)

Multiple sessions of wreathmaking on Friday, Saturday and Sunday provide lots of opportunities to get festively creative. Invite family and friends to register with you and make it a special moment to share together. Here are the available sessions:

 - Saturday, Dec 2 11AM–12:30PM
 - Saturday, Dec 2, 1:30–3PM
 - Sunday, Dec 3, 11AM–12:30PM
 - Sunday, Dec 3, 2–3:30PM

And there's so much more happening all weekend! Live jazz, an ice-carving demo, a photo-op moment in the Flower Garden, a Scavenger Hunt for the kids—as well as a special Family Art Project—a display of Wildlife Trees at the Paisley Bed, a fun and funky Wreath Display along the Great Lawn balustrade. Finally, on Saturday and Sunday, Sunset Cocktails on the Kate French Terrace!

Immerse yourself in an experience that can be as busy or tranquil as you like, knowing the gardens will always provide a refreshing alternative to the hustle and bustle of the holiday season across the city.
