More News from the Friends of the Weymouth Public Libraries  

1/2 Off Book Sale for all Adult Trade Paperbacks from February 21-25 at the Friends Book Store.

Longer hours during the sale at the Friends Book Store are Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Friday & Saturday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Be sure to stop by. Look for a monthly book sale during the 3rd week of each month! 

We need volunteers to help man the Book Store! The bookstore is looking increase the hours the store is open and we are looking for volunteers.  New hours will be posted on our social media.  Be sure to check us out.

Are you a Friend? Sign up to be a Friend Member in 2023, as we try to reach our goal of 400 members for 2023. Your membership helps contribute to all of the library programs the Friends organization supports, and this year there will be membership “perks”.

New Training Program for ACP Navigators  

In previous issues, we've mentioned the Affordable Connectivity Program, the federal program to help low-income households pay for internet service and connected devices like a laptop or tablet. 

Now there is a new training program, LearnACP, to prepare digital equity advocates, also known as "navigators" to help people to determine if they are eligible for the ACP, complete the application and enroll in an affordable internet program. Check into it if you or your organization are part of helping with helping low-income households.

MassDPH Get Boosted campaign extended to March 31

Get Boosted clinics will continue to offer $75 gift cards per COVID-19 vaccination (any dose), while supplies last. Participating clinics are listed on Mass.gov/GetBoosted . Participating clinics are located in Randolph and Brockton.  Get full details here.
