66th Annual Whiskey Flat Days

Whiskey Flat Days is one of the most popular Festivals in all of Southern California.

Whiskey Flat Days is held every Presidents Day Weekend. It is a leap back to the good ol' Wild West Days when the area was settled by gold miners, cattle ranchers and trappers. Join us when Kernville reverts to its old name "Whiskey Flat" for four nostalgic days of fun for the entire family.

Parade, Wild West Daze Rodeo, Wild West Encampment, Carnival Rides, Whiskey Flat Mayor Contest, Food & Craft Booths, Costume & Whiskerino Contests, Pet Parade, Blue Grass & Country Western Music, Gunfighter Skits, much more!

Friday February 17, 2023
11:00am: Whiskey Flat Encampment: Cowboy and Mountain Man Encampments on Scodie Ave across from the Rodeo Grounds.
You'll see history and gunfights. All day there will be Chuck wagon cook'n and coffee, a horse trader and livery. You'll see the Whiskey Flats Saloon, a Justice of the Peace, Saddle maker and leather craft, storytellers of the Old West, mining demonstrations and a Civil War Confederate camp!

1:00pm: Golden Gulch Opens
Circle Park: Crafts, handmade items, jewelry, info booths, and art vendors. Whiskey Flat Headquaters and info booth on the corner of Kernville Road and Tobias Street selling Whiskey Flat shirts and memorabilia.

1:00pm: Riverside Park & Frontage Rd. Opens
Riverside Park: Food Court, Family Entertainment and misc. vendors. Frontage Rd. Vendors, vendors, vendors!

3:00pm: Schoeppner Amusement Carnival
On Kern Rive Games. Come and enjoy great adult and children's rides & Games

5:00pm: McNally Arena - Whiskey Flat Days Iron Horse Rodeo.
Dust off your Boots and Hats or in this case your Helmet and Motorcycle Boots as Whiskey Flat Days brings the MC/ATV Iron House Rodeo.

5:00pm - 8:00pm: Main Stage Street Dance - Tobias Rd.
Featuring Sons Of Bakersfield

12:00pm - 2:00pm: Music - Main Stage Tobias Rd. Featuring Vince Galindo And Country Deluxe

12:00pm: Wild West Daze Rodeo at the McNally Rodeo Arena. Brought to you by Cotton Rosser's Flying U Rodeo. Open Team Roping, Bull Riding, Hide Race, Open Barrel Race, Junior Barrel Race, Calf Scramble, Sheep Riding, and more.

1:00pm: Whiskey Flat Encampment Opens Cowboy and Mountain Man Encampments
