OUTDOOR Foraging Walk in Hathaway Acres
Thursday, June 9, 6:30pm

Join veteran environmental educator Andrew Prazar for a foraging walk in Wilmington’s Hathaway Acres.  The trailhead is located at the corner of Draper Drive and Evans Drive--please plan to meet there. Wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather.

Town Wide Yard Sale

Friday, June 11, 8am - 2pm

Dozens of Wilmington households will participate in this year's Annual Town Wide Yard Sale. Each year, many hundreds of shoppers found bargains at the annual Town Wide Yard Sale.

Maps of yard sale locations will be available at wilmlibrary.org, at the Library and at the Wilmington Market Basket customer service counter starting Wednesday, June 8.

This sale DOES NOT take place at the library - sellers across town hold sales at their homes.

VIRTUAL Author Visit with Andrew Joseph White

Tuesday, June 14, 7pm

Join debut author Andrew Joseph White  for a Pride Month discussion about his YA horror dystopia novel, Hell Followed With Us, about embracing the monster within and unleashing its power against your oppressors. Sixteen-year-old trans boy Benji is on the run from the cult that raised him—the fundamentalist sect that unleashed Armageddon and decimated the world’s population. Desperately, he searches for a place where the cult can’t get their hands on him, or more importantly, on the bioweapon they infected him with.

3D Printer Available for Public Use
In keeping with our efforts to offer the community opportunities to learn about new and emerging technologies, the Wilmington Memorial Library has a 3D printer available for public use.

If you're new to the 3D printer, consider attending the upcoming 3D Printer Demo with Brad on Tuesday, June 21 at 2:30pm

Art Display in Conference Room
“Whimsical Animation” by Eugene Styller is now on display in the 2nd floor conference room through June 30. Eugene describes his art as “not realistic and not abstract art but whimsical.” Come by to see the entire collection.
