Welcome to Wilmington

Whether you're new to town or have lived in Wilmington for years, please drop in on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 6pm to 8 pm at the Wilmington Memorial Library for our annual reception for new residents. Meet representatives from town government, schools, churches, youth groups, and community organizations. Learn about services, programs, volunteer opportunities, etc. Pick up your Chamber Welcome Bag, and gather other freebies. Bring ID to get your WML card! Hosted by Wilmington Memorial Library and the Wilmington-Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce. Registration encouraged.

INDOOR Cookin' The Books

Tuesday, October 11, 12pm

If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this group is for you.  Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online), register on the library events calendar and record your recipe. Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes!

INDOOR History of Italian Art
Thursday, October 13, 7 pm

Join Martha Chiarchiaro, founder of Seeing History, for a presentation on the history of key Italian artists and some contemporary Italian-American artists. Martha holds a Master's Degree in the History of Art from Williams College and has traveled extensively in Europe and the U.S., visiting museums. She has been bringing history to life through art for more than 30 years.

This is a social group for those who do any kind of needle craft.  Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, etc. and enjoy a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.

Do you enjoy writing poetry? Want input on your work? If so, this group is for you. When registering, please provide your email address so you can receive an agenda and any prep materials in advance. Led by local writing enthusiast, Barbara Alevras.

Drawing from 50s and 60s pop, American Songbook standards, and much more, this vibrant duo channels and fuses these influences through two voices, a guitar, and violin to bring you a mixture of original songs and dusted off covers from the past.
