50th San Antonio Rattlesnake Festival & Run

12202 Main Street

50th Annual Rattlesnake Festival

October 15 & 16, 2016

City Park, San Antonio, Florida

Since 1967 community members in rural East Pasco County have maintained the unique, family-friendly flavor of this down home event featuring live snake and reptile shows and wooden gopher tortoise races. The festival has grown over the years to include the 5-mile Rattlesnake Run on Saturday morning, a traditional Florida Pioneer Village with live craft demonstrations, arts and crafts vendors selling only handmade items, an array of food trucks and snacks, kids' games and activities, a beer and wine garden, and free live music and entertainment all day long.

Admission and parking are free. Tickets for the snake show, gopher race entry, and certain activities (i.e., rock climbing wall, mechanical bull ride, and pony rides) may be purchased on site.

The festival is the primary fundraiser for community projects organized by the Rotary Club of San Antonio and is partially funded by Visit Florida and Visit Pasco.
