In1985 Church Plant  Gary Royer and several students from Trinity Bible school came to Bountiful and started holding services. After approximately one year Rev. Clive Shryer became the Senior Pastor and began looking for a new building to use for a church facility. Abundant Life purchased the old Larry Scott Health Spa and renovated it into a place of worship.

In 1988 Alex Lucero became the Senior Pastor and has worked to improve the facilities. With the help of many hardworking people the facilities come a a long way. The Raquetball courts were converted to offices and sunday  school rooms in 2001 and a new Sanctuary was completed in 2003. The facilities have been completely remodled and the congregation now enjoyes a beautiful place to worship and fellowship.

The most important improvement in the church has come in the area of spiritual and numerical growth. The average AM attendance in 1988 was 40-45. The average AM attendance today is over 200 and growing by the month. The church is now a healthy fellowship of believers making a positve impact on our community.
