I am David Hatton, and I'm from Manchester, England. I spent one year living in the North West Suburbs of Chicago and loved my time there so much than many of the towns there have become a basis for a book I wrote called Across The Miles. The book is about a 20 year old girl called Emily who has moved to Chicago-area for the first time after breaking up with her boyfriend, Richard. The two cannot fight their feelings however and begin a relationship across thousands of miles with only the use of a pen and paper. Arlington Heights is one of the towns which feature in the book and hope the residence enjoy it and hope it brings tourism and wealth to the area.
