About Us

The Chamber was formed in 1956 and consisted of a handful of business leaders. Today, the business association represents approximately 200 businesses that employ almost 5500 people in the area. This vibrant local economy is critical to strong educational system, a healthy housing market and recreational opportunity.

We are proud of our accomplishments and dedication to helping the local business community through a unified voice. We will continue to promote mutually beneficial interaction between the business community, local and state government, the school system and library, the police and fire departments and this community's residents.

The Adelanto Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organization composed of members of the business community working together for the overall betterment of Adelanto. Operating as an independent non-profit organization, the Chamber enables business and professional people to collectively promote economic growth and progress in the City of Adelanto. Our work toward implementing this philosophy has been successful because of the commitment on the part of active, motivated business leaders. Together these volunteers do what no service, club, governmental agency, or individual business could do alone. The Chamber enhances and promotes the Adelanto areas as a great place to live and to do business.

Every member has an opportunity to participate in selecting the chamber's officers and directors. Additionally, members are encouraged to serve on Chamber committees, work on specific projects, or serve on the board. We're proud of our accomplishments, and the dedication shown by our business and community leaders.
