Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Albion Area Arts Council to provide cultural leadership to the eleven communities it serves. This is being accomplished in four ways:

By providing a variety of quality performances in the disciplines of music, theatre, dance and the humanities to as broad a range of audiences as possible.

By providing as many school residencies and workshops as possible, and inviting students from the seventeen public and parochial schools in its coverage area to attend.

By providing support and encouragement to creative individuals in its area, both students and adults, by sponsoring performances by area musicians and artists and readings by area authors and poets.

By partnering with other organizations, including the Albion Area Art Club, the Albion and Newman Grove Writers' Clubs and various business, educational and service organizations to help integrate the arts into as many community events as possible.
