Alloway Township School provides a learning environment for students from PreK through grade 8 where student achievement is a priority. Language Arts Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies are taught with a focus on best practices in curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of all learners. Advanced courses in Math are offered to seventh and eighth grade students. Eighth grade students may take Introduction to Physical Science at Woodstown High School. Spanish language and culture is presented to students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Learning is enriched at the Alloway Township School through opportunities to experience art, family and consumer science, music, library, and physical education and health, and Spanish throughout the grades. Band and choir students represent the school in winter and spring concerts and at community events.

Our School Improvement Team is implementing an action plan that focuses on issues of respect in our school community. A character education program, a bully awareness and prevention program, and recognition programs that highlight successes of our students and teachers are in place. Student Council and Safety Patrol offer leadership activities at the upper grade levels. In addition, peer educators, peer tutors, and peer mediators work to positively impact our school climate.

Our school is supported by a strong Parent-Teacher Association that works along with administration and staff to provide opportunities to enrich the school experience of our students. Parents and community members are welcomed into the building to serve as volunteers in many capacities throughout the school.
