Company Overview

Amazing Grace CIRCUS! was founded in 2002 in Nyack, NY, by Carlo Pellegrini and Janet Hayes who, at the time, were the Junior and Senior Youth Group Leaders at Grace Episcopal Church in Nyack. As a result of the events of 9/11, Carlo and Janet's teens decided they wanted to do something for their community: a village that had lost many members in the World Trade Towers tragedy. The decided on the universal appeal of 'a circus performance'. On May 17, 2002, after 8 weeks of intense rehearsal, they put on their first performance to sold out crowds. What was intended to be a one-time event, turned into a 365 day a year adventure for the past 12 years.

AGC! is a place where children and teens take center ring in their lives, education and community. We teach the core values of C.I.R.C.U.S...

We accomplish this through the instruction of Circus Arts training.

Students of AGC! and Youth Troupe members learn more than just circus tricks. They learn how to acquire the skill of self-confidence, how to think differently and act differently to change the situations they find themselves in. Life lessons run deep at AGC! 

Our goal as leaders is to train the youth in our circus to be leaders themselves. We train them to stand tall in front of an audience, to speak clearly, to present themselves in public and to think clearly while articulating their thoughts.
