AAUW advances equity for women and girls, through advocacy, education, and research.

The McLean Area Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) cordially welcomes you into its membership. We invite all members and prospective members to attend events and participate in our annual used book sale and other branch projects and special interest groups.

At meetings and social events there are opportunities to develop friendships with others who share your interests. We also want to express your views through our national AAUW which addresses the particular concerns of the educated women in our society. Through the national association AAUW has significant impact on policy and an international presence. We also encourage you to visit other branches throughout the state and nation.
