The Gilbert Rauh Post 1574 of the American Legion is located on Garrigan Avenue which is the street that intersects with Broadway at the Thornwood Town Center (CVS and Shoprite).

We are an active post with members from WWII to Iraq and Afghanistan veterans.

We send boys to Boys State and the Auxiliary sends a girl to Girls State each year. We send packages to our troops in Iraq. We sponsor several young people's sports events; this April we sponsored the Town's Track Meet which was held on April 12 at Pville HS.

And of course we take part in all patriotic holidays.
