The Armbrust Wesleyan Church was organized with twelve charter members on May 20, 1923 as a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church. The church operated for 24 years until Rev. James McClure became pastor in 1947. As the church grew so did it’s vision. Finally property was purchased and the erection of a new building was begun. With the foundation barely completed, this visionary pastor died after leading the church for twenty years.
