Mission :

The Sole Mission Of Art For God is to reflect the life and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth in the 21 Century. We neither criticize nor promote any denomination or religion.

Art For God exists to show the eternal Master, Jesus of Nazareth,

In a way that depicts His Holiness, Kindness, Humility, Unselfish Love, Strength, Beauty, and His Eternal Relationship with us in this present moment.

People need to remember Jesus laughing and Jesus smiling.

Contemporary Christian Art has a huge responsibility and ART for GOD accepts that challenge.

The life and teachings of Jesus are for everyone who lives, has lived and ever will live.

The gospel presented by Jesus is that God is a loving and merciful heavenly father and accepting this truth allows us to love and serve one another as he served and continues to serve and love us.

There is no greater opportunity to live in the presence of God than to serve others with a glad heart.

Little is known about the heart of mankind when we are forced to see man at his worst.

Would people really behave as they do if they knew they were in the presence of God?

The heart of God resonates love and forgiveness for all people of this vast universe.

Those who would hold up an umbrella so as to be untouched by this rain of divine compassion are unreal beings creating real terror in the lives of the innocent.

No ministry can change people hell-bent on destruction. The same cannot be said of God. Although, God allows tragedy to befall His children, He never requires that we learn from suffering, it is simply inevitable when free-will exists.

ART for GOD exists to serve, minister and encourage the body of Christ especially those who are unafraid of what they might find outside the box. Stephen Sawyer's Christian Art serves and exalts Jesus of Nazareth as the Son of God and the Son of Man. Stephen's skills as a portrait artist have made an indelible impression on the spiritual psyche of the world with his paintings of Jesus. Ichthus and Creation East are two of many places around the country where Stephen travels as a Christian speaker, artist, and author.
