Arthritis Foundation Massachusetts Chapter

29 Crafts Street
617-219-8234

The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.  From its Newton office the Arthritis Foundation serves the 1.5 million Massachusetts residents who have arthritis.  Included in that number is 3,000 children who live with Juvenile Arthritis.  The Arthritis Foundation's three strategic priorities are: research, public health and advocacy.

The Arthritis Foundation Massachusetts Chapter positively impacts thousands of people through patient education programs, family and young adult networking programs, exercise, aquatic and self-help programs, and information and referral.

The Chapter hosts a number of special events throughout the year including seven Arthritis Walks across the state, dinners and a Grand Prix go-kart event.  The Boston Arthritis Walk is held in September each year. Volunteers and Walk Team Captains are always needed to help make this event a success! Funds raised through special events support Arthritis Foundation research and public health programs.

Volunteers are always needed to help plan and coordinate special events or just to help in the office. For more information call (617)219-8210  or 800-766-9449
