Ascension Parish Alternative School is to provide a positive, meaningful learning experience for students who have not been successful in traditional school settings.

Our goal is to provide a quality education through a variety of teaching techniques and strategies. We will provide curriculum designed to foster mastery of objectives. We will promote a feeling of self worth and pride in each of our students.

We believe regular attendance is a key component of being a successful and productive citizen. Our program will focus on improving the attendance patterns of each individual. Students that fail to exhibit appropriate behavior will be held accountable for their action.

We believe emotional wellness is a key component of being a successful and productive citizen. Our program will focus on improving the personal and emotional well being of each individual by linking them to the appropriate community service.
