OUR COMMUNITY

A suburban community spanning 271 square miles with a population over 190,000. We are the 6th largest school system in the state serving 33,000 students. Our 10 high schools serve over 9,000 students. Ashbrook is the most diverse school in Gaston County serving a variety of students from many different social, ethnic, cultural and economic backgrounds. We are well-known and respected for our rich histories and traditions of excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts.

The vision of Ashbrook High School is to establish a strong foundation for lifelong learning in an increasingly diverse society.
