It offers a large array of books and reference materials to its' patrons. The library’s book collection is on computer and is completely automated.

The Ashville Public Library also offers an excellent Summer Reading Program for young children each year. There are two computers for public use with one connected to the Internet. Newly released books are always available along with Large Print editions. A meeting room is also available for public use.
