About Us:

Athena Christian Church (ACC) is an independent, non-denominational fellowship of Christ-followers who believe there is no salvation outside of our Lord Jesus Christ, and no book from God but the Bible.

ACC is not part of an organized denomination with headquarters and officers that determine policy for an entire group of congregations.

HOW WE DO MINISTRY

ACC’s ministries are organized into several major groups of related activities. Each group is managed by an elder or a leader who is accountable to the elders. 

We utilize ministries that effectively glorify God in our area, constantly evaluating and fine-tuning our existing ministries while watching for new ways to better reach our area for Christ.

We cooperate with churches in Athena to present annual events during which God can be glorified in our community. We join with Restoration churches around Oregon to fund church-planting in the state. We also join churches from around the United States to fund American and foreign Christian missions.

Our elders are men chosen from among our church’s qualified members.
