About

We are located on the eastern side of the Benton Community School District in Atkins, Iowa. Our school serves the communities of Atkins, Newhall, and Norway and surrounding areas. We continue to have had great support for our District, Board and our PTA. Our building has had many new updates over the last few years including an Early Childhood addition which includes Preschool and Kindergarten classrooms, a new media area, and updates throughout all of our classrooms.

We have continued to update our curriculum and use of technology in all of our classrooms. Computer labs, mobile labs, IPADs, and Interactive Boards will continue to enhance our student’s academic experience. Our district also focuses on PBIS which includes being RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, CARING, and SAFE Bobcats. Our staff is very dedicated to ensuring success for your children both academically and socially.
