Beachwood Elementary School is a child centered environment.

We know that when children love their school, they become lifelong learners. Our children are learning to make a better life for themselves and for those who will share the future with them.

All our students have one thing in common, the joy of knowing that their potential has no boundaries!

We are continuing with our character building program. Character can’t be defined in simple terms; it is evident in the way we live and in the things we believe.

Each day, we start with motivational quotes and a patriotic salute to our nation. Our children are encouraged to be good school citizens and promote good choices in their interpersonal relations.

At Beachwood School, strong academics is a given. Our parents expect a fine education for their children and we take that very seriously. Here children are provided opportunities to assimilate and communicate information and to become strong readers and writers.

Our curriculum is designed to encourage problem solving, intellectual risk taking and positive interpersonal relationships.

This year promises to be a very productive one as we continue on our mission, “To Leave No Child Behind”. Our district continues to provide our teachers with some of the best resources to teach your children. Essential to our success is your parental involvement. Please take every opportunity to connect with your child about school. Communicate with our teachers, and become part of our Parent/Teacher Organization. This will make a key difference in your child’s continued academic success.

It takes a whole community to raise a child. We certainly have the best community and elementary school to make this goal attainable for each and every child.
