Bears from Bergenfield originally begun in Bergenfield, NJ has reached a 10 YEAR milestone of collecting stuffed toys with NNJJA, located in Ridgewood, NJ. These donations have been added to the 134,000 toy collection from the past 10 years that has spanned Bergen County as well as other states across our country. The students, from various towns located in Bergen County such as Fair Lawn, Glen Rock, Oakland, Teaneck, Cresskill, Ridgewood, Waldwick, Saddle River, Upper Saddle River, Park Ridge, Tenafly, and Bergenfield have been collecting stuffed toys via toy drives in schools, cub scouts, girl scouts, Bnai mitzvah parties, youth groups and have brought their collections to NNJJA to sort, pack and get them ready to ship. We ship via Dolphin Express thanks to Sharon Donenfeld and via airlines if we can find people to schelp the bags to check them in. This month, we have two bags being checked in on El Al thankfully, and we will be sending close to 300 toys to Israel. Please help us keep this toy drive going strong. Email me at [email protected].
