In 1982, a Berkeley location opened in downtown Woodbridge to serve residents of Central Jersey.

Situated near the Woodbridge municipal building with the North Jersey Coast Line train station just across the street, the Middlesex location is easily accessible from the Garden State Parkway, the New Jersey Turnpike, Routes 1 and 9, Interstate 287 South, and the Outerbridge Crossing. Bus transportation is also available.
