Berry Farms is located in the Sylvia community on the North side of Dickson County. Oscar & Alice Berry moved their family less than 1 mile from the farm he grew up on, to the farm that has been home for the Berry family ever since. After Oscars' death in 1964 his middle son Robert and wife Helen carried on the farming tradition raising tobacco, cattle, and vegetables.

After their retirement in 2000 a greater emphasis was given to vegetable production. In 2006 Robert and Helen's youngest son Todd & his wife Lenee came on board and started a pumpkin patch and an on farm market. Berry Farms has now expanded to selling vegetables at our local farmers market and hosting our Harvest on Hayshed fall celebration.

Our goal is to keep the farming tradition alive that our family started in this area back in the 1800's. We were honored in 2009 to be a stop on the Dickson County farm tour as well as being awarded the 2009 Heritage Farm of the Year. Today the 2nd and 3rd generations are hard at work while the 4th generation is coming on strong.
