Russ has owned Guns~N~Gear since 2004.  He started it as a fun hobby, out at the local sporting clays range.  Russ loved to hunt, and has had many trips, including pheasant hunts, duck hunts, deer, and bear, traveling to many US states, and to Canada.  He is an extensive reader and likes to watch the History Channel too, gaining more hunting and gun information.  Then in 2011, he had an opportunity to buy all of Blendon Pines.....!  So Russ loves hunting, sporting clays, and making sure customers get the right gun, for the right kind of shooting...whether it be sporting clays, trap, deer hunting, or waterfoul hunting.

Amy his wife, likes to shoot sporting clays and pistols, when time allows.  She is also a high school tennis coach, makes jewelry, including Ammo Jewelry, which you can find in the store. 

They have one son, Kyle, attending college.
