Blissfield School District is situated in Lenawee County, in the southeast corner of Michigan. The District includes the Village of Blissfield, and all, or parts of, the Townships of Blissfield, Riga, Palmyra, Ogden, and Deerfield. Grades K-12 are housed in three buildings and serve the District's approximately 1300 students.

Our Mission :

Blissfield Community Schools will provide a learning environment that will challenge students to become life-long learners and productive citizens.

Accreditation :

All of our school buildings are presently accredited. Blissfield was one of the first twelve school districts out of 550 K-12 districts in Michigan that are North Central accredited. North Central Accreditation is voluntary, entails an extensive self-study, visitation and verification from educators throughout the State of Michigan, and maintains the highest accreditation standards that schools can achieve.

Vision Statement :

We the Administration of Blissfield Community Schools believe that every student can learn, and by ensuring that our programs are well planned, aligned, and progressive, we will provide students with knowledge, understanding, skills, and insight needed for further success.  We dedicate ourselves to meeting individual student needs as evidenced by improved academic achievement, skill development, and individual student accomplishment.  We belive that student learning is best achieved when parents and school personnel work jointly as a team and we strive to make our schools inviting to families.  We are a community of learners who celebrate achievement in all forms, and look to implement proven programs of best practice in teaching, learning, and assessment.
