A small CSA focusing on fresh vegetables with some fruit (if the delightful midwestern weather cooperates). Produce is (of course) highly seasonal and super fresh. Full shares receive 5 to 7 different veggies weekly while partial shares receive 4 to 6. Full shares are intended for families or vegetarians while partial shares are perfect for singles or small families that don't eat at home regularly. Pick up is weekly, sessions are 10 weeks long, and we offer at least 2 sessions per year: one May-July, one July-October. A winter session with every other week pick up may be possible. We don't require members to work on the farm, but do invite them to do so a few days a year for specific work days/activities.

Blue Door is a small, organic vegetable farm. We market our vegetables through a small CSA and at the Farmers' Community Market at Brookside (Saturdays, 8 am to 1 pm, corner of 63rd and Wornall in KC, MO).We have high tunnels for season extension and grow a wide variety of vegetables.Blue Door is a host farm with the Growing Growers Apprenticeship Program and welcomes volunteers Wednesday through Friday.
