Bowler School District

500 South Almon Street
715-793-4101

The Bowler School District is located in Shawano County in NorthCentral Wisconsin, midway between GreenBay and Wausau. The school district is comprised of the townships of Almon, Bartelme, Seneca, Morris, Hutchins and includes the village of Bowler and the Stockbridge-Munsee Reservation.

Bowler School District is proud of its achievements. We have recently earned The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's award as a "School of Promise". The elementary earned the "Elementary School of Promise" award in 2004 and recently our High School was also named a "High School of Promise" for the school year 2006. To be recognized, schools must be eligible to receive federal Title I funding and be among the highest poverty schools in the state based on free and reduced-price school lunch data. Additionally, student achievement must be above average for the state in both reading and mathematics, based on statewide assessments, and there can be no noticeable lag in achievement for subgroups of students.
