We are a small specialty farm located in West Friendship,Md. We produce organically grown vegetables, berries, flowers and herbs. We have delicious raw honey and jams made from fresh local fruit. We make goat and sheep's milk products including soaps, lotions, etc. using 100% olive oil, shea butter and herbal infusions for extra skin care benefits. Products are sold in our C.S.A, web site and retail businesses. Our C.S.A also offers working shares. NEW We have added locally raised grass fed beef, pork and lamb. Our heritage free range chickens provide the most delicious eggs while entertaining us with a rainbow of colors.

We offer a "cream of the crop" assortment of farm fresh foods. We are a value added C.S.A. which means in addition to 8 fruits and vegetables every week for 24 weeks, you will receive your choice of bread made with freshly milled wheat from "Great Harvest" and eggs 3 times a month. On the week you do not receive eggs you will receive another farm fresh item on a rotating basis such as honey, jam, cheese, ice cream, goat's milk soap, etc. on a rotating basis. We also have "Pick Your Own Herbs" as part of the program weekly. We plan our program to feed an average family of 4. What seasonal fruits and vegetables can you expect to receive? Strawberries, cherries, blueberries, peaches, plums, nectarines, cantaloupes, melons, apples, pears, plums, tomatoes including heirlooms, sweet corn, assorted beans, assorted squash, potatoes, cucumbers, lettuces, peas, asparagas, eggplant, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.

We grow many heirloom varieties for taste and nutrition, the way our grandparents did. We link with several local farms to provide variety and balance to our assortment The growing methods of our farms are "Natural" which means organic methods are used but the farm is not certified. I.P.M. which stands for Intergrated Pest Management and Certified Organic.If there is something your family doesn't like you may trade the item on the trade table. Also, some extra items are for sale by the pound. We also have local grass fed beef, chicken, pork and lamb available for purchase seperately. New for 2010 is flour made from freshly milled grains, natural sugar, spices, beans, etc. Several payment plans are available including monthly.
