History:

In 1966 a motivated group of Brillion citizens interested in preserving Brillion's heritage arranged a public meeting to discuss the idea of establishing an organization that would preserve and display various artifacts, photographs, and stories that chronicled Brillion's roots.

The founding members of the Society were Elliot Zander, Don Schmelter, Don Vechart, John Horn, Henry Horn, Art Neumeyer, Mrs. Willard Tschantz, Mrs. Adlph Nelson
