About Us:

The Brookside Elementary School opened in 1965.  We currently have approximately 370 students enrolled in Grades K-5. 

VISION:

We envision Brookside Elementary School to be a professional learning community where all stakeholders (students, staff, parents/guardians) strive to meet high expectations and feel safe and accepted.

Brookside will be a school:

that promotes a high level of learning and a positive, enthusiastic environment that supports all learners.

where staff believe that all students can learn and we ensure that every student does learn so they can be college and career ready by the time they graduate from high school.

with self-determined learners who accept responsibility for their learning and behavior, and consistently demonstrate that they are respectful, responsible, and ready to learn.

that provides a quality instructional program based on the Common Core Learning Standards and 21st Century Skills.

supported by a positive home environment where parents/families are actively involved and equally responsible along with staff for their child's education.
