About

The Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce was originally organized as the Bryan Business Men's Association. It was incorporated in 1947 as the Bryan Chamber of Commerce. The Articles were amended in 1988, and the name was changed to the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce.

The mission of the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce is to promote Bryan and enhance the quality of life and economic stability of the community.

The Chamber is governed by a board consisting of 9 directors and 6 officers. The City of Bryan, the Bryan City Schools, the Board of Public Affairs, and the Williams County Commissioners hold ad hoc positions on the board, as well. The board meets monthly or as necessary, and is responsible to the membership for the overall program and policy of the Chamber. Committees are established to make recommendations and implement programs.

The Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to promoting and enhancing the quality of life and economic stability of the community; and supporting planned quality growth and a vision of excellence for Bryan.
