Goals and Objectives
The Board of Trustees of the Calhoun County Independent School District envisions a school district in which the first priority is its children. The Board members recognize that, in an information age, knowledge drives the world. All students of the Calhoun County Independent School District must be able to think critically, work with technologies appropriately, communicate intelligently, compute mathematical formulas correctly and efficiently, and learn new skills throughout their lives. The Board shares these responsibilities with the families of our community and dedicates themselves to preparing our students to live and work in the twenty-first century.

The Calhoun County Independent School District dedicates itself to the goals listed below.

Achieve highest level of academic excellence as measured by:
  TAKS scores compared to State top 10 given comparable demographics
  Attendance
  Completion rate

Goal 2:
Integrate and apply technology throughout the curriculum.

Goal 3:
Maximize use of financial resources.

Goal 4:
Actively solicit community involvement.
