About Us:

Camden Elementary School is the smallest elementary school in Madison County Schools.  With 156 students enrolled in Pre-K - 5th Grade, Camden Elementary School offers the mandatory elementary courses as well as specials:  Computer, Library, Music, and P.E.  Honor students are invited to join the National Elementary Honor Society.  Camden Elementary School has safety nets in place to ensure that all students move academically to the next level:  Special Services, Academy of Reading, Academy of Math, and Retired Certified Tutors in Math and Reading.  Camden Elementary has the only community lab, "The Township," in Madison County Schools.

The Program of Research and Evaluation for Public Schools (PREPS) presented Camden Elementary with the PREPS Value Added Award for School Achievement, Quality of Distribution Index, Outstanding Performance in MCT2 Mathematics and Extraordinary service to the Children of Mississippi, and Outstanding Gains in Student Achievement and Extraordinary Service to the Children of Mississippi.

Camden Elementary School students support various community service organizations:  March of Dimes, Relay-for-Life, and CES Canned Food Drive.
