The mission of the Capital School District is to produce knowledgeable graduates, prepared with competitive skills, to become successful, responsible citizens in a global society.

Goal #1 - Improving Instruction

Improve academic achievement in all areas assessed by the DSTP through appropriate staff development, program development and curriculum development.

Goal #2 - Learning Environments

Establish and maintain state-of-the-art learning environments that students, staff and parents feel are safe, healthy, economical, inviting, and conducive to meeting the challenges of the 21st century.

Goal #3 - Community Involvement

Develop a strong active partnership with the entire community which generates ownership, pride, trust and commitment.

Goal #4 - Financial Support

Provide financial support for ensuring quality learning environments, excellence in instruction and instructional programs and strong home and community partnerships.
