Carnival to honor Greenwich Police Sergeant Roger Petrone.
For the second year, the town of Greenwich, CT will host the finish line for the Tri-State Trek, a 270 mile, 3 day bike ride to benefit research for the devastating illness, ALS.
Just steps from the finish line will be an all day, fun family Carnival featuring games, food, prizes and auction items all to benefit the worldʼs largest research lab, the ALS Therapy Development Institute.

 Carnival for Pals began in Rumson, NJ after a dear friend of the community was diagnosed with the devastating & fatal disease. The event is planned and run by kids from the community and helps raise awareness and funding by inviting the community to join together to help this underfunded and debilitating disease.
Inspired by the efforts of 8 year old, Sydney Petrone, the all-volunteer Carnival for Pals will be honoring
her father, Greenwich Police Sergeant, Roger Petrone. Roger was diagnosed with ALS at age 37.
There will be a huge gathering during the Carnival as hundreds of bike riders cross the finish line.
Cowbells carrying the names of people with ALS will be handed out to spectators to be rung as they
complete their 3 state, 3 day ride.
Kids and adult volunteers are needed to help run the games, work the prize booth, serve cotton candy, etc.

Local businesses are encouraged to help promote the event and donate an item for the auction
table.
