Cedar Mountain Garden Club

Mission:    
The mission is to collect, organize, digitize and perserve materials from the Cedar Mountain Garden Club. To have a central archive for these items to be located, and allow these items to be kept for both the present and future members of this organization.

Cedar Mountain Garden Club was established in 1957 and federated in 1960. We are part of the National Council of State Garden Clubs and their mission is to "Provide education, resources and national networking opportunities for its members to promote the love of gardening, floral design, civic and environmental responsibility".

The purposes of the Cedar Mountain Garden Club are to aid in the protection and conservation of natural resources, to promote civic beautification and encourage the improvement of roadside and park plantings, to advance the study of gardening, landscape design, environmental issues, floral design and horticulture and to cooperate with organizations furthering the interest of horticulture, conservation, environmental protection and beautification.
