The purpose of the organization is:

to fulfill the need for a superior organization which will challenge, educate, and stimulate the advanced students of music in the central Illinois area;

to extend the school music program, never substituting for it; and, to contribute to the cultural life of the participating students and their communities.

To meet these objectives, you active participation is imperative. You have undergone an extensive audition and have proven your potential as a musician. It is now time to use this potential in developing our organization. In turn, you will gain the experience that will help your own community's music program. As long as you work toward this goal and are a member of your school music organization, you will realize the fine musical experience our group has to offer.
