Christ Church is the mother church of the Episcopal (Anglican) Communion in East Texas, established in 1848. Our teachings and worship follow the apostolic tradition and the Holy Bible. The Holy Eucharist, otherwise known as the Lord's Supper or the Holy Communion is our central act of worship on Sundays. All baptised persons are invited to receive communion with us regardless of their Christian denomination.
