About Us

We have a long history that reaches back into the late 1800's. We've made many changes along the way to meet people's needs. We presently run a total attendance on Sunday Mornings of about 155 with about15 in the early morning worship service.

We belong to the Association of General Baptists. We are of the Armenian faith in that we believe the Bible teaches that a believer can turn his back on God and reach a point where he rejects his faith and Lord, but we also believe in the "security of the believer." This "security of the believer" means that we are saved and secure in Christ as long as we believe and trust in Him for our salvation. We understand that it's our relationship with Jesus that saves us, not good works or even good moral living.

We have decided to try some innovative things in order to get the gospel out to the world and to bring those in the world into His church and under the teaching of His Word. This web site is one of the ministries we've recently initiated. We have also begun using multi-media (pictures, video clips by way of a projector) in our services to enhance our worship experiences.

Our future is only limited by our vision of it. We hope you'll consider being a part of that future. God is able to accomplish great and wonderful things through His church, if we are willing to let Him do it.

We care about kids and the proof of is found in our nursery (ages 0-2), Children Church (ages 2-5) and Junior church (grades 1-4) for our Sunday morning 11 am service and children and youth ministries each Wednesday nights for all age groups.
