Cordova Community Council

2729 Prospect Park Drive, Suite 117
916-273-5704

Since it was founded in 1959, the Cordova Community Council has served as a meeting place to discuss the future of Rancho Cordova. It is one of the oldest and most enduring civic organizations in the community.

We were founded by forward-thinking individuals who recognized Rancho Cordova would benefit from vibrant civic activity. Our early leaders believed our community would flourish best if local residents worked together. This legacy of mutual support is a hallmark of community life in Rancho Cordova.

The purpose of the Cordova Community Council is to bring together representatives from our divergent member groups to consider any local issue and plan for the enhanced quality of life in Rancho Cordova. We are Rancho Cordova's "Congress" of organizations.

The council is non-partisan and non-sectarian. The council is not the Chamber of Commerce, nor is it the Rancho Cordova City Council. Rather, we are civic-minded residents who gather with the common interests of our community in mind.

The Cordova Community Council sponsors the Rancho Cordova Community Christmas Tree Lighting, Rancho Cordova Fourth of July celebration,   candidate forums, and Rancho Cordova historical activities. We  enthusiastically support our member organizations in their endeavors, as well.

Membership in the council is $20 per year.

If you are interested in becoming involved in our proud, diverse and growing community, welcome! We're working together to build a great Rancho Cordova!
