A husband and wife working hard to restore a one room schoolhouse for tourism and educational purposes. Call anytime for an appointment.  See more details on the website. Donations are welcome!

Our ultimate goal is to save a peice of mostly forgotten history. Our educational systems we have today evolved from the old one room schools! Though much is unclear about these one room schools. We did not have any relatives that went to this school nor are we even old enough to have gone to a school like this but we love history.

The classroom is 'dressed up' with around 30 places for students to sit as well as a recitation area up front. Books have been made to teach from specially for this school. Spring summer and fall are the best times to plan a program. Programs are offered to groups of around 50 people/students. Until we get the other school done. We are in the process of saving another school, its outhouses and its coal shed. Children will get to bring in the coal/fire wood and all of the works! You will not be disappointed! Open by appointment.
