Crighton Farm

A box is about a half bushel in size each week containing a share of the crops available that week. If there is a special request for no hot peppers for example, we will honor that and replace them with another product, such as sweet peppers.

We grow varieties suited to western Pennsylvania and start all our plants from seed in our greenhouses. Our crops are naturally grown, hand picked by us and selected with you in mind each week. We begin with asparagus, lettuces, rhubarb, scallions, endive and radishes, progress to kohlrabi, cabbages, all sorts of peppers, tomatoes including many heirlooms, eggplant and beets, on thru sweet corn, potatoes, PA Simply Sweet onions, red, white and Walla Walla onions, herbs, squashes, pumpkins, turnips, tomatillos, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts and many kinds of beans. During the season, we also have from our own bushes and trees, gooseberries, currants, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, peaches, apples and pears.
