Cultural Center at Eagle Hill

242 Old Petersham Rd
413-477-6746

The Cultural Center is a place to celebrate the culture of Central Massachusetts and beyond. If you have participated in the Open Studio tours in this region or enjoyed a musical performance on a town common or in some intimate venue in our region, you know that the arts are a vibrant and fundamental part of that culture. The Center provides a new venue for learning, creating, exhibiting, performing, and enjoying art. It's a world-class venue at that: a $15 million facility with two theaters, art galleries, visual art and graphics classrooms and studios, music classroom and recording studio, woodshop, and function hall. But more than all that it's a place to connect a meeting place between young people and adults, performers and audiences, artists and budding artists.

The Cultural Center is a new place to discover or rediscover local artists, from folk, bluegrass, and jazz musicians, to visual artists in every discipline.

It's also a place to encounter the work of artists from far afield a connecting place for diverse cultures.

And, importantly, it's a place for learning. Eagle Hill School students are involved in all aspects of the Center's operations, from marketing and publicity, to budgeting, to ushering, to operating theatrical lighting and sound, to producing and performing in Eagle Hill School-produced events. They are mentored by faculty and artists-in-residence who live and create art on campus. Others in our community can also take advantage of workshops conducted by our artists-in-residence and visiting performers, as well as expanded arts classes offered through Eagle Hill School's ongoing adult education program.

And so, the Cultural Center is a place for you. Again, welcome we look forward to seeing you here.
