The Daytona Beach Symphony Society is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the community with a wide range of musical and cultural programs. The Symphony Society presents the finest in orchestral music, dance and opera to many thousands of residents and visitors throughout Volusia and nearby counties, brining artists of international acclaim to our area. Such artists as Van Cliburn, Itzhak Perlman, Frederica von Stade, André Watts, Pinchas Zuckerman, James Galway, Sarah Chang and Joshua Bell, as well world-renowned orchestras such as the Saint Louis Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, Orpheus, Czech Philharmonic, Pittsburgh Symphony, and The Boston Pops have performed at Peabody Auditorium during the last 55 Years.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Daytona Beach Symphony Society is to bring the excitement of classical modern music, dance and opera to the widest possible audience and increase the participation of special populations. We inspire and encourage the children of Volusia County to develop and appreciation for music. By bringing the highest quality national and international symphonic orchestras and soloists to Volusia Count we generate an awareness and appreciation of music, dance and opera for all residents and visitors.
