De Soto Area Schools serve the communities of Stoddard, Genoa, De Soto, and Ferryville in southwestern Wisconsin. The district borders the mighty Mississippi River and includes parts of Vernon and Crawford counties. Our enrollment is approximately 600 K-12 students who enjoy strong educational programs and a wide variety of extra-curricular activities while benefiting from the small school setting.

Because members of our community believe that all students deserve the opportunities to reach their fullest potential and become productive and responsible members of local, regional, and global communities, the De Soto Area School District dedicates its resources to helping each student add to his or her knowledge, skills, and experiences in order to achieve and reach that potential.
