Des Moines Golden K Kiwanis Club
History:
Our clubs aim is to provide fellowship and service opportunities for retirees. There were forty one charter members present when we received our Charter on August 10, 1984. We were sponsored by the Des Moines Downtown Club. Since its inception, Des Moines Golden K has enjoyed a steady growth of membership and service. We now have a membership of 170 members; it is now the largest and one of the fastest growing clubs in the NE/IA District. We have fun.
