About Us:

Cowboy Mounted Shooting is the fastest-growing equestrian sport in the great state of Alabama! Mounted contestants compete in this fast-action, timed event using two .45 caliber, single-action revolvers each loaded with five rounds of black powder, blank ammunition. There is also a rifle division.

This Club is a member of CMSA – Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association – which offers a variety of levels of competition for everyone, ranging from novice divisions to the seasoned professionals, so you are always competing with other shooters at your own level. Men and women find this a fun equestrian sport! 

The vision of this Club is that the state of Alabama will have nationwide representation and will be a name to be respected in the mounted shooting world! This Club will support Alabama shooters, as well as any from neighboring states who wish to join.
